Dances
If you like music and dancing, you'll love this volunteer opportunity! Seasonal dances are held throughout the Metroplex. Get your school, organization or company involved in decorating, dancing and developing new friendships.
Advocates
The Arc serves as the court-appointed legal “guardian of the person” for incapacitated adults, 18-49 years of age. A Volunteer Advocate acts as the Agency Representative on behalf of The Arc serving as additional "eyes and ears" for The Guardianship Program. Email

Arc LIFE
Volunteers for Arc LIFE classes assist teachers and aides by providing one-on-one mentoring with attendees. Classes and activities are available for spring, summer and fall semesters. For a current Arc LIFE schedule, please visit the Calendar of Events page.
Adventure Camp
Groups or individuals will enjoy volunteering at Adventure Camp during spring and summer school breaks. Adventure Camp is for children 5-21 years of age. Volunteers interact with campers to provide mentoring, friendship and staff support.
Internships
Students love to intern at The Arc. Real world experience awaits you in public relations, public policy and guardianship. See the employment page for more information. All internships are unpaid.
Office Assistance
From answering the phone to data entry, there are often administrative duties with which volunteers can assist.
Group Volunteer Opportunities
Many group volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year. From fund-raising to cookouts to hay rides, groups can make all the difference! Sometimes custom events can be created to accommodate your group.
